Bertucci DX3 Field Watch

Just picked up this item a few weeks ago and I've given it a light workout, but nothing incredibly tough just yet. So far, it's proven to be a solid purchase for $60.00. Lightweight and durable, it also features luminescent hands for low-light conditions as well as being water-resistant to 165 ft. This model is a perfect watch to wear on the trails. Mechanix Wear MG-72-010 gloves

I picked up a pair of these a few weeks ago for a home renovation project and thought I'd give them a test at the shooting range before completely destryoing them w/ paint stains and construction grime

My first observation was that the palm was more smooth than I'd typically want in a glove. I tend to prefer a more tacky surface, yet these gloves worked better than I initially anticipated. They allowed enough dexterity to perform several tasks, such as reloads, etc. without problems. I'd say they need a couple of hours of use to get really broken in and mold to your hands, but then what item doesn't? For the price ( $15.99 ), it's worth picking up a few pairs. I'm so fond of these in fact, I keep one pair w/ my roadside kit in my suv and another in my range bag.

North Face Mountain Light jacket

I purchased this jacket (same color scheme as pictured) roughly 12 years ago and it's been my loyal companion ever since.

It's first true test wasn't the Spring rains of Auburn University's campus, but the Winter conditions of Big Bend National Park. The North Face Mountain Light was incredibly effective in not only keeping me dry, but also in being compact/light (approx. 1 lb. 10 oz.) enough to fit alongside two weeks worth of gear.

If you're looking for a Gore-Tex jacket that functions on it's own, or with it's zip-in compatible option, this one is the perfect choice. With a price tag around $250.00, it's also comparable with other jackets of this style. Find out more about this fantastic piece of equipment at www.northface.com.

MidwayUSA Competition Range Bag

I purchased this bag as a birthday present to myself in November and I can't believe I waited that long to do so! This range bag has been extremely well thought out in terms of usage and storage. I've managed to fill mine with three cleaning kits, supplies, tools, and spare parts/magazines and I still have room to spare. The construction seems quite durable which only time will tell. For now, I've yet to find another option that can equal the value of this model.

As shown (Olive Drab) - $49.99. Also available in Coyote(tan) and Black.

Oakley vertical computer bag

I've owned this bag, well an older model that is, since Christmas of 2007. It shows absolutely no exterior signs of wear and tear other than a bit of surface dirt. Oakley has done a phenomenal job at providing a variety of pockets within the bag that can accommodate anything you may need on a day-to-day basis. This bag does not disappoint. In fact, the only drawback I found (and it took quite a bit of thinking) was that the lining near the top ripped after about a year or so of use. This was easily repair by my local sewing shop. If you're looking for a long-lasting storage solution for your laptop, this is it!

Purchase this bag through Amazon.
