Shaun Leane
Awarded UK Jewellery Designer of the Year, Shaun Leane is internationally celebrated for pushing the boundaries of jewellery design.
Renowned for his darkly romantic and beautifully crafted jewellery; his work has been described by Sotheby's, London's prestigious auction house, as ‘antiques of the future'.
Leane's first diamond collection was launched in 2005 in celebration of his 20th year in the jewellery industry. The Collection marked a return to his traditional jewellery roots with hand crafted pieces that celebrate the exclusivity of high end jewellery. His idea of fusing fashion with tradition introduced a new element to fine jewellery. This collection was later crowned UK Luxury Jewellery of the Year in 2006.
By spring 2006 Leane was granted Freemanship of the City of London for his contribution to the UK jewellery industry.
Alongside his collections and bespoke pieces he produces for clients such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Daphne Guinness, Leane is also responsible for creating some of the most iconic catwalk pieces we have seen today. Past catwalk collaborations have included acclaimed projects with Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and Givenchy. His work with fashion designer Alexander McQueen spans over thirteen years and has brought him international recognition.
